Just as the Gettysburg Companion strives to recognize interesting people and places in stories and photographs that grace its pages, the region's newest publication will also celebrate establishments known for their good food and warm hospitality - with the Readers' Choice Award.
The magazine will present its Readers' Choice Award in each edition, honoring an area overnight accommodation or eatery. Mostly importantly, the award is truly a distinction determined by Gettysburg Companion readers.
We encourage readers to make their choices known to the magazine staff and help determine the winner. This can be done in a variety of ways, for various reasons.
Service, price, quality and overall hospitality experience are among the criteria readers should consider when converting a positive impression into a nomination for the Readers' Choice Award. The plaque given to the winner is intended for display at the business, as a testimonial of their good standing with guests.
Hotels, motels, beds and breakfast, campgrounds, and restaurants are eligible for the award.
The winner of the Readers' Choice Award will be the subject of a story in the magazine and receive a wood plaque featuring the front page of the article. It will look quite stylish when displayed in the business and reflect their commitment to quality.
Gettysburg Companion readers can make that happen for their favorite place.
Nominate your favorite for the award by submitting the form below, or by calling, writing, or emailing your choice to the Companion.
